For over 130 years KRAFTalm has been home to our family. We live here and love this little place.
And even though you might think that nothing changes, a great deal has happened over the past four generations.
We are continuing with this history and reopened our new KRAFTalm in May 2021.

‘Ski in - Ski out’ takes on a whole new meaning here. After all, every stay in the KRAFTalm starts with the gondola, which brings you up the mountain with ease. And then every morning you have the Joker in your winning hand. Everyone else is ‘very busy’ heading for the cable car in the morning. Meanwhile, you are still sitting enjoying a relaxed breakfast, with just our front door separating you from the ski piste. Indeed, sometimes you just get lucky in life.

Some things never change
- Our recipe for apple strudel – has been exactly the same for over 40 years.
- Our own old wood, was once new. You just have to have a bit of patience.
- Greti & Jakob – more than just names for us. Rather, they are a tradition and our roots.
- Wander in, replenish and sleep well. And all that since 1909 in the KRAFTalm.
- ‘Griaß di’ or ‘Hi’. You know that above 1000m in Tirol you are in the right place :-)
