Do you really want to enjoy a holiday in the mountains in Tirol, but are there still a few things you would like to clarify? Well this is where we finally come into play. Tips, tricks and the best solutions await you. We are a special place, for unique people. All you have to do is ask. We are happy to help.

Getting here by car?

Indeed. You can only drive as far as the Salvista gondola, where you can park your car for free in the designated car parking area. It is there that your adventure holiday in the mountains begins and it starts with a journey up the mountain to the KRAFTalm in the comfortable, new 10-seater gondola. Once you get to the top, it is just a few metres more to the KRAFTalm. It is not possible to get to the KRAFTalm by car.

Please take note of the gondola operating times. It is not possible to get here outside these times.
Further details about your exciting journey is available here.

In the summer months when the gondola is not in operation, we offer our overnight guests an exclusive cab shuttle service from the valley station of the Salvistabahn to the KRAFTalm.
We charge € 7,-- per trip per adult (children up to 15 years travel free).
It is not possible to travel to the KRAFTalm in your own car.

Once you arrive, do you stay up at the top?

Anyone spending the night in the KRAFTalm has countless opportunities to fill their day. Yet when night falls, all our overnight guests slowly find their way back to us. Since you can only get to us via the gondola, arrive here by 16.30 at the latest and enjoy the time with your loved one/s. That is how a holiday in the Alm should be!

Heading out to eat in the evening?

The KRAFTalm is located on the mountain and is only accessible via the Salvista gondola operating times.
There are also no options available to head out in the evening. But worry not, nobody goes to bed hungry here.
Our multi-course and re-organised evening meal will not only fill you up, it will make you happy too.

Check-in / Check-out

Our rooms are ready for occupancy from 14.00 on the day of arrival.

Of course, you are welcome to come to us before then and leave your luggage. If you have arrived very early, perhaps you would like to have breakfast with us? We are happy to book breakfast for you on the day of arrival.

On the day of departure, please vacate your room by 10.00 am. Afterwards you can use our wellness area free of charge until 1.00 pm, or you can put your luggage in the trunk and enjoy the rest of the day with us on the mountain. From 1 p.m. you can book a spa extension to spend the rest of the day in our wonderful spa area. How long? Of course, you still have to catch the last gondola ;-)

Towels, bath slippers and the like?

There are plenty of towels provided in our rooms and in the wellness area and there is a fluffy bathing robe for every guest.
Each room also has a hairdryer and ski shoes can be dried conveniently in the ski cellar.
We care about our environment and therefore ask that you bring your own flip-flops/bath slippers with you.

Ski pass?

A ski pass is not included in the price of the room and can be purchased at the valley station for the Salvista gondola. The ladies at the cash desk are also happy to advise you.

In addition to the lift ticket, a one-off luggage fee is charged. You can get more information about this at the ticket office of the cable car.

Wellness on the mountain?

Can only be used in conjunction with at least 1 overnight stay.

In our infinity pool, with indoor and outdoor areas, you swim in fresh mountain water and directly towards the panorama of the Wilder Kaiser. And because it often gets chilly on the mountain, the temperature is a pleasant 32°C all year round.

If that's still not enough, you should try the "Kaiser heat" in the panorama sauna. The subsequent breather in the relaxation room with its cathedral-like vaulted ceiling is the quietest place on the KRAFTalm, and so peaceful that you forget the world around you for a short - or long - time.

Our wellness area is open daily from 07.30 am - 7.30 pm

The KRAFTalm is a house for generations - many guests of different ages want to feel at home with us. That is why there is a Quiet Zone in the entire wellness area from 4.30 p.m. on 3 days a week (during all vacation periods).

Sauna and relaxation room for all guests aged 16 and over. The sauna is a textile-free zone.

Is the KRAFTtalm barrier-free?

Wheelchair access is no problem at all.
All the public areas in the KRAFTalm, including toilets, seminar room, relaxation room and the restaurant area are easily accessible for wheelchair users. Rooms are designed in such a way that they are suitable for wheelchair users. However, they do not meet the guidelines for accessible rooms. Just give us a call and we will be happy to clarify matters for you.

Are dogs allowed in rooms?

In summer you are welcome to bring your four-legged friend to the Alm vacation. We have reserved two of our rooms for "dog visits". We assume that "Bello" is not allowed to sniff freely around the house and otherwise abide by all the rules of a pleasant coexistence ;-)
Also that your darling can wait for you at the room while you are eating or relaxing in the wellness area.
Only 1 dog up to 25kg can be brought per room.

In winter it is not possible for you to bring your dog with you on holiday. We are located in the middle of the ski area, and there are simply no areas available for dogs to be taken out.
Day guests and their dogs are welcome and you can take your dog with you to look for a nice little spot on the terrace and in specific indoor areas.

Is the KRAFTalm child-friendly?

Families with children and babies are very welcome in the KRAFTalm.
Holiday time is family time – a time when things can just be. Ensuring a precious time together is important to us. Then everyone gets to feel great in the KRAFTalm.

Is there a ski school?

At the valley station for the Salvista gondola in Itter, the Alpine ski school has an extensive range of ski courses available. More information can be found on their website.

Are there winter hiking trails right by the hotel?

In winter, the KRAFTalm is located directly on the piste. Skiers and winter sports enthusiasts cavort around our house, which is why there are no walking or winter hiking trails on the mountain. In the valley you will find plenty of opportunities for winter hiking, cross-country skiing and walking. To reach them, you can take the cable car down to the valley and back again. Our dear mountain railroad offers a hiking pass for winter hikers. This can be used on all gondola lifts in the area (SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental). You can find all the information here.
